William learned the trade on his father's roofs: carrying slate, stripping felt and being told when a job was not yet finished. His father started at sixteen and has spent his whole working life on roofs across North Wales; today he works for the company William built. Two of William's younger brothers are on the team, with four other full-time employees alongside them.

We help homeowners, landlords, commercial premises and retail units who need a roof problem ended rather than postponed: the drip that comes back every autumn, the slipped slates after a westerly gale, the flat roof that has been patched three times already. Our specialism is slate: reclaimed Welsh slate above all, plus new Spanish, Chinese and Brazilian slate and artificial slate where budget calls for it. We also work across tile, all common flat roof systems (EPDM, GRP fibreglass, felt and liquid coatings), lead work, full rebuilds and loft conversions.

Heritage work is part of the everyday. We have worked on multiple listed buildings in Betws-y-Coed, and William's own listed home: The Old School House in Llangefni, has been fully refurbished by the team, with the rear roof in hand. That experience is why conservation-sensitive properties across Anglesey, Conwy and the Snowdonia valleys come to us.
