What information we collect
When you complete our survey request form we collect your name, phone number, postcode, and, if you provide them, your email address, the service you need and any details you write about the roof.
When you ring or email us we hold the contact details and job details you give us so we can quote and carry out the work.
Why we use it
To contact you back, arrange a free survey, prepare and send your quote, carry out agreed work, and keep a record of jobs, payments and guarantees.
We rely on your request (steps taken at your request before entering a contract), performance of the contract for the work, and our legitimate interest in running the business and honouring guarantees.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only where necessary to carry out the work or run the business, for example scaffolding suppliers, materials merchants, our insurers, or our accountant, and where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept only as long as needed to follow up. Records relating to completed work are kept for the length of the relevant guarantee and any period required for tax and insurance purposes.
Photographs
We photograph roofs during surveys and works as part of our written findings. If we would like to use a photograph of your property for marketing purposes, we will ask you first.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, or object to how we use it. Contact us on the details above and we will respond.
If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
